Rockhopper’s Coming & Hangouts

Ahoy-there Basers,

After reading the latest post on the Official Club Penguin Blog, I decided to hit up the ol’ Light House to see if I could see anything heading towards Club Penguin. I took my new shortcut to the Beacon (turns out it has been there all along! ouch! thanks Nicole!) and took a look out of the telescope.

Well looky looky what I saw through it. Rockhopper’s on his way back….. you’ll definitely get a couple of new items when he gets here, and he’s bringing the rest of the set-up for the Fall Fair………….

Speaking of which, I hear there’ll be something new during Fall Fair that we haven’t seen before at an event. Perhaps it’s a new game made especially for the event, or maybe it’s a new Room - whatever it is, should be awesome! (Fall Fair starts in just over a week! 21st September)

One thing I’m interested to know is whether or not you have your own “hangout” or regular spot that you hangout at on CP. Is it the find-four room at the Ski lodge? The café? My favorite hangout is at the top of the mountain….. I just *love* Sled Racing!!

Bing Bing Bing! FALL FAIR News…

HELLO BASERS,

Well whaddaya know…………. turns out we were right!! (suprisingly, shhh!)….

According to today’s Penguin Times….. A couple of penguins knocked open the crates at the Light house, revealing what’s in store for us in mid-september.

Here’s what it had to say… “A fairly big party will go underway in September. When the box broke, a banner tumbled out that said “Fall Fair”….. It’s expected to start September 21st”….. Awesome!

Looks like we’ll find out more about what’s in store for the event when Rockhopper returns in mid-september, but apparently it involves a huge tent!

I’m definitely looking forward to the event…. we’ll keep you updated to don’t forget so bookmark us or add us to your favorites!

Bon Voyage, Rockhopper!

Incase you didn’t notice, because we sure didn’t, but Captain Rockhopper quietly left during Camp Penguin to pick up the rest of that mysterious cargo.

I expect to see him back in just over a week with plenty of new suprises for us. You can expect free new items, a new event and other cool stuff.

Keep a look-out in the telescope on top of the lighthouse for signs of his return!

Finding Captain Rockhopper…

Have you found Rockhopper yet?

Since August the 17th, Rockhopper’s ship The Migrator has been at the Dock with Rockhopper being found at various locations throughout the map, generally around the Dock, the Iceberg, Snow Forts, the Beach, and of course his Ship.

If you know where he is but you can’t see him because of the crowd, click your buddies, and on the bottom of that screen there are three buttons. Click on “Player list” in the middle and scroll through the list until you see his name. Then click on it….

Click on the wink on his player card to get a free gift! (It’s been known to be an eye patch or special background)…..

There’s also a free gift in The Migrator’s cargo hold, where you get a free parrot and have the option to buy several rare items including:

Ancient Penguin Monument (furniture) 600 coins

Feathered Hat 250 coins

Wall Treasure Map 250 coins

The door to Rockhopper’s quarters is locked… hmm I wonder what that is…..

What is in those boxes?

Incase you haven’t noticed, Rockhopper has left some mysterious crates and boxes in the lighthouse with a “Do not open until Fall” sign.

As expected, it has created a fair bit of hype around the world of CP, some people are VERY curious to know what it could possibly be that’s inside….

Whatever it is, only half of it has arrived, this is what Rockhopper’s journal has to say on the topic…

“Ah, what a suprise I’ve got for me penguin buddies this time. There’s so much to bring that I’ll have to bring it in two trips… after all, Yarr and I can only fit so much on the ship at one time! I can’t be giving a clue as to what is in those boxes, not just yet, but I’m sure that all of me penguin buddies will be gettin’ a fair bit of fun out of what’s inside.”

So whatever it is, there’s more to come, so let’s look at a couple of the theories as to what it could be:

• Being that it’s the lighthouse’s 1st birthday this Fall (Also known as Autumn in England/Australia), everybody could be getting free celebratory items.

• It could be a circus or fun-fair, as there are streamers on top of the boxes and Yarr is wearing a ringleaders hat in Rockhopper’s August 4 journal.

They’re the most popular ideas so far, do you have any ideas as to what it could be? I guess we’ll have to wait to find out for sure…

By the way, if you want to read Captain Rockhopper’s journal for yourself, it’s found on the bottom-right corner of your screen when you’re aboard his ship (when it’s docked at the Beach beside the Lighthouse)… I’ll keep you updated.
