Membership vs. No Membership
Posted On August 27, 2007 by DanWhen I first discovered Club Penguin, I had no idea what features or options it had available to it’s members compared to the free playing members. Obviously I knew that there were more options for those paid members, but I had no idea that the whole experience of the game changes when you finally get that first paid membership.
The memberships for Club Penguin are available in three different packages at which you get discounts for the longer you have the membership purchased.
Monthly $5.95
6-Monthly $29.95
Yearly $57.95
Here are some of the features you get for being a member compared to being a free playing member.
- The ability to customize and decorate your own Igloo
- A lot of more items.
- Hundreds of more clothing features.
- The ability to view new areas before free playing members when they’re added
The way I view free membership is that it’s more of a trial to see whether or not you enjoy the game. If you do, and you’re going to immerse yourself more fully in the Club Penguin community, then I suggest you get a membership.
If you can’t afford one, ask for one for Christmas or Birthday’s… and if you still can’t get one, within the next couple of month’s stay tuned for competitions here… we’re going to give away Club Penguin gift packs with membership!
