Interesting new format for the Newsletter this week,

Everything has been slightly re-organized, maybe to fit in all the action this month has to offer. The first costume contest is over and the 20 winners are announced, theres hints at what’s in store at the Gift Shop, featured game is Sled Racing.

Aunt Artic is asked about what happens with the Fall Fair mini-games (they’re put in storage), and the feature is Puffle Super Play. Get your Puffle to full three-bar health and let it play to watch what your Puffle does. Each colored Puffle does something unique.

I’ll update the Pin Guide now with the latest Pin which is a Hairbrush pin, found in the Pet Shop over on the right.

Club Penguin Oct. Catalog Secrets

If you’re up for buying some cool clothes this October there are five cool secrets in this months Catalog.

Club Penguin Newspaper Issue 103

Spooky Basers,

New newspaper came out on Thursday with some cool information about what we can expect this Halloween on Club Penguin. Apparently the new way of decorating our penguins is coming very shortly - as we can see by the boxes in the Gift Shop.

Some people assume it’s hair for Penguins — although I doubt huge boxes would be used for hair (however the boxes might be used for the altering of the Gift Shop which happens later in the month). Other Penguins think it’s animated clothing… what do you think it might be?

Whatever the case, with the new clothing catalog comes new Halloween costumes- and what better way to decide which costumes are the coolest other than a Costume CONTEST. That’s it Penguins, so start buying some scary gear.

The featured game for the week is Puffle Round-Up, a pin comes out on Oct. 12th.

I’ll post up the Catalog secrets shortly.

Club Penguin | Base Live Bookmark

Soon-to-be-productive Basers,

Hmmm incase you didn’t know, there’s a really cool way to keep track of Club Penguin updates. It’s really simple and will save time searching around trying to find out what’s new and what’s not.

Unfortunately, this is only for people who use Mozilla Firefox as their default Browser ( http://www.firefox.com ) so if you don’t already have it, get it! It’s a lot better than Internet Explorer.

Then, all you need to do, is click on the Orange Icon at the end of the web address and add Club Penguin Base as a Live Bookmark. Here’s what it looks like when you’ve done that:

Sure saves searching the net for Club Penguin updates, now you wont even need to load one webpage. This website is probably the most updated Club Penguin site on the planet, so we think we’re worth the bookmark.

Club Penguin Halloween Preview

Billy Bob updated the Official Club Penguin blog earlier with a cool sneak peak at what’s in store for this month at Club Penguin. Here’s what he had to say:

“October is always a big month in Club Penguin and this year is no different! … Costume Catalog … a new Furniture Catalog… 2 parties, 4 contests, a brand new way to decorate your penguin, and lots more! I was able to grab a sneak peek of some of the decorating that the team is working on for the Halloween Party.”

 Awesome! Well there you go, there’s definitely something happening around Halloween as well as some great stuff this month. You know where to look for all the latest Club Penguin news when it happens… YOUR Club Penguin Base….
