Little Fall Fair Animations

Posted On September 25, 2007 by Dan

Hey Basers,

Club Penuin

One thing I noticed and really like about what Club Penguin did with Fall Fair is the attention to detail with the mini-games. You’d think during an event such as the current one that they’d quickly whip up a few small crappy games just to keep us happy, but they went the one step further.

If you didn’t notice, when you hover over most of the mini-games, there’s a smallanimation… most of them are like a mini-guide at how to play the game. Check them out, there’s cool animations for all of the mini-games.

Club Penguin FAST Money

Posted On September 24, 2007 by Dan

Yo Speedy Basers,

I only have a limited amount of time to post today…. so what better topic to post on than how you can get the fastest amount of Coins in order to purchase the items you want, when you’re playing Club Penguin.

Funnily enough this post is non-Fall Fair related :) We’ll save the Fair update for tomorrow.

Club Penguin Money

Now obviously there’s only one way to get coins on Club Penguin, and that’s to play one of the mini-games. When you think of fast money, two games should come to mind.

Jet Pack Adventure is the game that you can get the highest amount of coins playing. It’s fun enough, and you can get hundreds of coins over a few levels. That’s great compared to a game such as Sled Racing (my favorite) where you only get 20 for winning!

But there’s only one game at which you can get the fastest amount of coins, and a high number of coins.

Some of you have probably guessed it (seeing as the image pretty much says it all), but that game is Cart Surfing.

Have a go and see how many coins you can get in 2 minutes. I got over 100 coins!

(Tip: As I posted last week in the Cheat Guide, you go the fastest using the Lime Green Color as your Pengiun color….)

Next week I’ll write a guide with all the tricks you can do when Cart Surfing… there’s a fair few!

See you tomorrow,

Dan

Club Penguin Mission One Guide

Posted On September 23, 2007 by Dan

Base Agents,

Here’s my 10-step guide to the first Secret Mission, The Case of the Missing Puffles. Over the next couple of weeks I’ll document a guide to all the current missions so check back here if you haven’t done them or if you’ve had trouble completing them.

1. Speak to Aunt Arctic, tell her you’ll find the Puffles.

2. Go to the Ice Rink, on the right you’ll find photo’s. Pick them up.

3. Give them to Aunt Arctic.

4. Go to the Pet Shop and to the left you’ll find a note on the Puffle Houses. Use the “CODE” on the bottom-right of the screen to decode the second line. It’s the number you need to give G. (Tip: It’s easier if you write it down on paper rather than try to remember it)

5. Go to the Sport’s Shop and give G the number you decoded. He will give you access to his special items. Take the Preserver Launcher and go to the Iceberg.

6. On the Iceberg, use the Preserver Launcher to save the Puffles that are stranded on another iceberg. Careful of the wind making it more difficult.

7. Go to the Mountain and speak to the crying Penguin.

8. Open your spy phone and click on the red light. Use your spanner to fix the crying Penguin’s telescope. Look through it and look left. You’ll see a green puffle flying around the top of the tallest mountain.

9. Go back to G and get the grappling hook. Then go to the tallest mountain and use the grappling hook to climb to the top.

10. You’ll find the penguins. Return to Aunt Arctic and redeem your medal and a letter from Aunt Arctic thanking you for finding her Puffles.

Quick Tickets at Club Penguin Fair

Posted On September 22, 2007 by Dan

Ticket-loving Basers,

I got about 2,200 tickets in around 15 minutes playing two of the mini-games during Club Penguin’s Fall Fair.

Club Penguin Tricks

The mini-games for the best tickets are Puffle Shuffle and Puffle Paddle.

Puffle Shuffle: Pick a hat that you’re going to follow with your mouse pointer and pick a hat that you’re going to follow with your eyes. Focus on the one with your eyes and as it moves, say the color of it out loud. In the back of your mind keep note that you’re going to move your mouse with the one your mouse pointer is on.

If you do that right, you can keep track of all 3 hats (The other one is the only one you don’t know, so you can guess it easy too!) and you can keep it going for AGES.

Puffle Paddle: When the first Puffle falls down, keep your Paddle at the bottom of the screen always and only focus on the one Puffle. If it’s easy you can hit another one, but it’s unnecessary because if you focus on the one Puffle it wont fall. The trick is to ensure your Paddle is at the bottom of the screen and as steady as possible when the Puffle lands on it.

Hopefully this isn’t too complicated to follow and you’ll get those tickets fast when the new items come out!! Remember, if you leave the game your tickets are lost… which is kind of unfortunate :) would be cool if they could be redeemed for Penguin Coins too!

See you tomorrow Penguins,

Dan

Club Penguin Fall Fair Guide

Posted On by Dan

Step right up Basers,

It’s time. Time to write up the guide to Fall Fair. As mentioned earlier, this party is HUGE. Probably the biggest event ever. There are six mini-games special to the event and huge changes to the scenary around Club Penguin.

Before we go into it, might I remind you all that Ballistic Biscuit is no longer. The new name is Hydro-Hopper and has now officially changed. You can play it at the Dock. I love the new name and the signs around it (special to Fall Fair) look awesome.

Club Penguin Fair
The six mini games are listed below and get progressively harder the better and longer you play them–Feed-A-Puffle (Cove) The objective is to shoot Puffle-O’s into the puffle’s that come up from the rings.

Also at the Cove: Popcorn Stand feature, Decorations, Hay Bails, and “Catchin’ Waves” signs.

Puffle Shuffle (Forest) The idea is that you keep an eye on the colored Puffle’s and it tells you which one to pull from under the hat.

Also in the Forest: Grand Harvest Competition Feature, Vegetable Stands, Decorations, Hay Bails, Balloons.

Puffle Paddle (Snow Forts) Aim of the game is to keep hitting the Puffle up, gaining points for each time. If you miss it falls under and another drops down. As you get better, you start managing more Puffles at the one time.

Also at Snow Forts: Iced Treats Feature, Decorations, Hay Bails, Special Sign for Ice Rink.

Memory Card Game (The Beach) Basic memory card game with Club Penguin styled images.

Also at The Beach: Special Light House Skin, Decorations, Hay, and Snow Cone Stall Feature.

Club Penguin Cheat

Grab And Spin (Dock) Here you grab a wheel and spin it, gaining points over 3 turns. Your aim is to keep the points under 50 by the end of the 3 turns. If you do that, you get more tickets.

Ring The Bell (Dock) Aim the hammer for the center dot and click, releasing it when it’s at it’s peak and the strength is at green. If you ring the Bell you get 50 tickets.

Also at the Dock: Juice Stall Feature, Decorations, Hydro Hopper.

—With each game you win tickets which can be redeemed for prizes. The Prize stall is found at The Plaza. The items are:

Circus Tent Pin 100 tickets

Teddy Bear Player Card Background 400 tickets

Cotton Candy 600 tickets

Feathered Tiara 1200 tickets

Club Pengwin
With more prizes to come as Club Penguin’s Fall Fair continues. Remember: It goes until NEXT weekend. That’s over a FULL week of Fall Fair on Club Penguin– awesome. There are also other features found on Club Penguin during Fall Fair but for now you’ll have to venture out and find them yourself.

I’ll update the Pin Guide now and then post how you can get tickets in the shortest amount of time possible.
