Sport Shop Project & Site Updates

The Newspaper hinted at a new project at the Sport’s shop, although it’s being kept pretty quiet at the moment. Reports suggest new equipment is being built. Whatever it is will be available in the Sport’s shop from around the start of September.

One penguin commented briefly on the project saying “We’re all sports enthusiasts working on the project, we’re not really inventors. We got inspired watching surfers at the Cove and decided to make some adjustments to one of our favourite sports.”

Do you have any ideas what it could be? Maybe bikes that we can ride around on, or a new sporty game?

In other news, we got our cheat guide online and will be adding cheats and glitches to the page as we stumble across them. A few older glitches have been fixed by Club Penguin like the floating friendship band glitch at the coffee shop and the “Bunny Hill” walk-on-anything glitch. All efforts will be made to ensure the glitches on our cheats page are up-to-date and that they all work.

Kicking Off Camp Penguin

Camp penguin began today and looks great!

Welcome to Camp Penguin:

As you can see they did an awesome job transforming the normal club penguin into this camp-site. Here’s a few things that changed for the weekend.There’s a big campfire on the beach out the front of the lighthouse with people singing camp songs and playing their guitars.

Over the other side of Camp Penguin you’ll see my favourite part of the camp- the moving waterfall with mini camp-site, equipped with fire and tents as well as penguins roasting marshmallows.

Infact, you can even pick up a free item… a marsmallow on a stick! Awesome!Another big change is the Pizza Parlour actually being transformed into a “Mess Hall” just for the camp, it looks great and it’s truly messy inside! Other changes include the dock being transformed into a picnic and barbeque area, and cool tracks around the campsite that lead you to the various main areas.

Camping Party! August 24-27

The Club Penguin Summer Camping Party is only a day away, and there’s a sneak peak on the Official Club Penguin Blog.

Here’s what the blog had to say:

“I wanted to give you a quick peek at what one room of the party is going to look like this weekend. It will only last until Monday, so be sure to check it out!”

So what should we expect to see and do during the camping weekend? You can expect a few great looking rooms and definitely a few cool games too. Activities expected include hiking and canoeing, it sounds like it’s going to be a fun weekend!

Finding Captain Rockhopper…

Have you found Rockhopper yet?

Since August the 17th, Rockhopper’s ship The Migrator has been at the Dock with Rockhopper being found at various locations throughout the map, generally around the Dock, the Iceberg, Snow Forts, the Beach, and of course his Ship.

If you know where he is but you can’t see him because of the crowd, click your buddies, and on the bottom of that screen there are three buttons. Click on “Player list” in the middle and scroll through the list until you see his name. Then click on it….

Click on the wink on his player card to get a free gift! (It’s been known to be an eye patch or special background)…..

There’s also a free gift in The Migrator’s cargo hold, where you get a free parrot and have the option to buy several rare items including:

Ancient Penguin Monument (furniture) 600 coins

Feathered Hat 250 coins

Wall Treasure Map 250 coins

The door to Rockhopper’s quarters is locked… hmm I wonder what that is…..
